
Claudio Giulietti
Physiotherapist
Claudio is an experienced physiotherapist who is highly regarded within the profession, as well as within the wider health community.
His extensive qualifications include a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of Bologna, Italy and two post-graduate diplomas - Specialisation of Musculoskeletal Therapy Techniques (Universities of Milano & Bologna, Italy) and Fascial Manipulation (Universities of Florence & Bologna, Italy). In addition, Claudio has had a wealth of practical clinical experience - including working for several private hospitals and rehabilitation centres, Technogym Fitness and Ducati Moto Superbike in Italy. He has worked as a sports physiotherapist for several prestigious professional football clubs and he was the principal physiotherapist for several ATP Tennis Tournaments in Italy. Since having his Italian qualifications recognised in Australia in 2005, Claudio has also become a registered physiotherapist with the Australian Physiotherapist Association and Musculosketal Physiotherapist Association.
Claudio now runs his own successful clinic. He helps local football, rugby, AFL clubs as well as several surfers, dancers and athletes.
He loves his new life on the Sunshine Coast which he shares with his family.
Susanne Grady-Walraven
Physiotherapist
Susie graduated her Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy in 2004 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. She has 20 years of musculoskeletal and sport physiotherapy experience. Prior to joining the Birtwill Physiotherapy team and founding TheRehub, she was a Senior Physiotherapist and practice owner of a busy clinic in Amsterdam. Having worked with a great variety of people, from the young through to elderly in close conjunction with osteopaths, psychologist, GP’s and medical specialist Susanne has developed an in-depth range of skills.
With a great passion for a holistic approach to rehabilitation, the balance between hands on treatment and stimulating people to improve themselves is crucial.
Susanne has a special interest in sports injuries, shoulder injuries/reconstructions, lower back pain and Pilates.
After work Susanne loves keeping fit with regular running, swimming and cycling in between caring for her 3 children. Together with her family she chases the snow for some snowboarding.


Dan Clout
Physiotherapist
Dan is an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about resolving pain, restoring function and achieving his patient's goals.
Dan graduated from the University of Sydney as a Physiotherapist in 2015. Since then, he has worked in private practice and gained experience treating a broad range of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Dan has particular interest in treating shoulder injuries, neck pain and headaches. He also enjoys helping patients with their rehabilitation following shoulder surgery. Dan also has a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and has extensive knowledge of exercise prescription for rehabilitation, sport and fitness.
Dan is a keen surfer and snowboarder, maintains a healthy and active lifestyle and is always seeking the next adventure.
Tyson McEwen
Exercise Physiologist
Tyson McEwen, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA), is dedicated to employing a biopsychosocial methodology in providing pain management, injury rehabilitation, and prevention. He is committed to empowering and educating clients on the robustness and adaptability of the human body, incorporating the most recent advancements in pain neurophysiology and strength training techniques. Tyson McEwen is also a local pain educator for the Pain Revolution Charity (www.painrevolution.org), a transformative initiative advocating for improved pain education and management. Having immersed himself in the health industry since the age of 15, Tyson initially focused on manual-based therapies. However, a forearm injury redirected his path towards exercise rehabilitation and strength training.


Rebecca Campbell
Clinical Psychologist
Rebecca is a dedicated and client-centred clinical psychologist, holding registration since 1997. Her career has involved a variety of government and private settings including serving on the National Psychology Board. She has had experience within corrections, community health, private and public hospitals, academic settings, and in professional supervision of registrars, interns and students.

Rebecca’s recent research is in the area of geropsychology, specifically mechanisms of psychotherapeutic change for older persons and enhancing wellbeing in advanced age.

The therapeutic interventions she favours include CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, solution-focussed therapy and hypnotherapy. Therapy is driven by the needs and progress of her clients.

Rebecca favours a collaborative approach with referrers and other practitioners and tailor treatment for individualised therapy, ensuring optimal outcomes.
David Donnelly
Physiotherapist
Having previously studied in Ireland, Dave is about to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland. He holds a Graduate Certificate in
Sports Medicine from the University of Melbourne, and is finalising his ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaching accreditation.
Dave has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as supporting clients during their rehabilitation journey following orthopaedic surgeries. Dave
is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and abilities regain mobility, manage pain, and achieve their functional goals.
Dave’s passion for physiotherapy extends beyond treatment sessions. He prioritises building a trusting and collaborative relationship with each client through addressing their specific
needs, involving them in the decision-making process, and ensuring that their treatment plan aligns with their goals and preferences. Dave's jovial, good-natured, and
compassionate personality makes each session a positive experience.
In his spare time, he enjoys staying fit and active at the gym, playing soccer, and spending
time with his family.
Kayla Mathews
Exercise Physiologist
Kayla Mathews, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA) from Adelaide is passionate about helping people of all ages to move better and improve body awareness. Kayla graduated from the University of South Australia in 2018 and more recently completed a diploma in Clinical Pilates with Polestar. She believes in starting with the basic foundations and building from the ground up to create resilience and a better attitude towards movement and life. As a basketballer herself at the state level since the age of 7, she also has great interest in helping rehabilitate and develop athletes from young ages and teaching them how to move safely in a gym space. Kayla loves travelling in her spare time and is super passionate about keeping active and her side hobby of photography. Outside of work Kayla can be found hanging with her Golden Retriever, Booker or soaking up the sun at the beach.


Matthew Smith
Speech Pathologist
Matthew is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008. He has spent the last 15 years working in various government and NGO settings including hospitals, community health centres, educational settings, aged care facilities, and disability service providers. Matthew currently operates a private practice in the South Burnett and sees clients of all ages across the life span.
Having worked for the last several years as a rural generalist, Matthew is able to diagnose and rehabilitate a wide range of communication disorders, including difficulties with speech, understanding and using language, reading and writing, social skills, and vocal problems. He works with people who have difficulty communicating due to developmental delay, stroke, brain injury, learning disability, intellectual disability, dementia, neuro-degenerative disorders, as well as other problems that may affect speech and language. He has considerable experience in helping people who have difficulties with swallowing food or fluids.

Kristy-Lee Crane
Pilates Instructor
Kristy-Lee Crane is a fully certified STOTT Pilates Instructor having completed comprehensive courses in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair & Barrels plus Injuries & Special Populations. She further increased her teaching capabilities by completing a Cert. IV in Personal Training & Allied Health Assistance through Breathe Education.
Her aim is to help clients strengthen their core and stability, enhance athletic performance, prevent injuries, recover from injuries & heighten mind & body awareness. Having spent much of her early adult life living overseas performing as a professional contortionist, dancer & aerialist, Pilates was the perfect transition for Kristy-Lee to return home & continue to work with the body, just in a different way.
